– I found a transcription company using this method. It can be quite effective, especially if you use it to dole out advice on how individuals and companies can use your podcasting skill in their day-to-day lives.
– If you want to work with podcasters, you have to go where podcasters are. Attending podcasting events and handing out business cards is an excellent way to raise your profile.
– I know, this is the most dreaded way to find new clients, however, it can be effective if done right. Put together a list of companies who offer podcasting services and call them to see if they could use your services.
– Send an email to a podcaster who lives close to you or who will be attending the same event you’ll be at and request to meet over coffee. Use the meeting to find out more about what podcasters need, rather than use it to talk endlessly about yourself. And don’t forget to pay for his or her coffee.
