So read the reviews, reviews of different you get what you pay for this is garbage. These items have at least 1-star because they serve as a decent headset. What they do not – in fact function as a microphone! There is a physical hardware limitation that prevents – or any helmet – to function as a microphone on the First gen iPod Touch. Connection does not exist in the first generation iPod and there is no application software around. I let go of 4 stars because the seller must explain that these headphones do not work fully with the First gen iPod Touch. Rating: 1 / 5
