How to keep my ipod apps and update music?

My old computer and drop it there all the music (iTunes) and applications. Recentally I have a new computer and get all the music I want. Is there a way to install music on my ipod and do not get rid of all my applications?

    WEll it depends on the iPod. If its a ipod touch, it syncs automatcly
