Wow, the smartphone revolution really took off. This quarter Research in Motion has become the leading smartphone company focused on the lists as one of the top five global manufacturers of mobile phones, according to a new report from research firm IDC.

RIM has a very impressive feat since most mobile phones sold are still a lot of features, “which does not RIM. Remember, these are global figures, not the number of United States. In the first quarter of 2010, Nokia remains the world’s number one mobile phone with 36. 6 shares market percent, followed by Samsung with 21. 8 per cent, LG 9. 2 percent, and RIM and Sony Ericsson equality 3. 6 percent.

Here in the USA, Motorola and LG are stronger than they are in the world, and Nokia and Sony Ericsson is lower. five of us here in the U.S. is the Motorola, LG, Samsung, Nokia, RIM, according to figures from comScore U.S. customers in February for the cell phone.
