Currently there are a great deal of rumours floating around the market place in regards to Apple’s new mobile/cell phone the iPhone 5. In particular it is quite hard to determine if there is in fact any truth behind these rumours which are most likely superficial and are from people who are in no way connected to Apple. There has however been speculation from people who believe that this could just be a strategy by Apple to build hype for the iPhone 5 or possibly could just be an attempt to divert attention away from definitive Apple iPhone 4 problems.
This is however still a fantastic product. The model is more advanced than any of the other iPhones which came before it and even has multitasking features. Additionally it has such features as a Retina Eye display and an amazing 5 mega pixel camera. However, Apple appears to have lost its way somewhere down the line.
The iPhone 4 has been besieged with antenna problems and call drops. Critics have been unnecessarily harsh on Apple. What many tend to forget is that it is the same model that sold more than 1.7 million pieces within the first four days of its launch. Then on, the company has sold more than 14 million pieces of this handset. In such mass produced products, there are bound to be some complaints which is quite normal. Another factor that impacted it was that it was not available in many Asian countries. This got compounded further when Apple did not release its White iPhone 4. All this led people to deriding the company.
The biggest rumour curently circling the internet is that the Apple iPhone 5 is going to be released this summer. Apple has released its new iPhone into the market at the same time of year consecutively year on year as part of its fixed cycle. This is the ideal season for the company to release their new model because it allows the new product time to establish itself within the market. Also by not releasing it until the summer, this gives Apple plenty of time to come out with both an innovative and new product at a time of year when people are looking for something new, innovative and more advanced to buy.
Due to stiff competition from other major players within the market, the Apple iphone 5 rumours, which have been circling, may just be a reflection on how Apple, is being affected in the market place. Apple is certainly being affected now that customers have other options apart from just theirs and are certain to have some tough times ahead. There will also be a performance boost with the model’s new 1.5 GHz processor. A new battery will also be included offering 7 hours of talk time on 4G networks and 14 hours on 3G networks.
Predicted memory features on the iPhone 5 are expected to be at around 32 and 64 GB, far exceeding the memory capacity of the iPhone 4, meaning that users will be able to both download and store more data and a considerably large amount of videos, songs and pictures.
Apple have made some what of a deviation by offering a much larger display screen, totalling 4 inches in size on the new release, unlike previous iPhone versions which were only 3.5 inches in comparision, if you go by what the rumours are saying that is. The screens OLED touch screen display will be totally scratch and shatter resistant. If this wasen’t already enough it is also said to be stain resistant and will also be able to give pictures of a much higher quality lots of clarity.
The new Apple iPhone 5 is expected to be powered by an Apple dual core A5 CPU and will have NFC support, as well as some amazing graphics. It is believed that there is a strong likelihood that it will contain more innovative features than its earlier versions. Including an 8 mega pixel camera which will greatly exceed the 5MP camera currently available on the iPhone 4. More of the advanced features could include an auto focus and GeoTagging for example, as well as, many more features which will improve overall image and video quality.
If there is any truth to these rumours then this would indicate that Apple iPhone 5, once released, will be the most technologically advanced smart phone available on the market.
